Track Diary

Due to the lack of available places to drive our Radio-Controlled cars, in August 2009 we decided to build our own track. This is our diary which we will upload to regularly, so check back often.

19th August 2009 - We have a lot of work ahead...

21st August 2009 - Work has officially commenced on the site. 

27th August 2009 - Overgrowth cleared, marking out of the course begins.

28th August 2009 - With the use of a digger, the first jumps and ramps are installed.

30th August 2009 - Track marked out using cabling conduit

31st August 2009 -  Decision made to widen and lengthen track.

3rd September 2009 - Track widened and lengthened, more Type 1 rolled in, jumps replaced. Astroturf ordered

15th September 2009 - Track safety fencing up, drivers' stand on the way, waiting on Astroturf delivery.

We appreciate progress has slowed a little, however we are preparing the campsite for next season and it was in a similar state to the track area originally!
